Week One Recap

Week one was a success, everyone is getting a feel for the medium and progressing very quickly.

A little recap:

All students introduced themselves, and gave information such as why they are taking the class, any previous experience in ceramics, and their major and where they are from.

We went over the syllabus and covered all of the expectations for the course.

The sketchbook was emphasized again and again, please bring it to next class as one of the Demos involves the sketchbook.

Shelves were randomly assigned, and lockers were self assigned.

Demo projects 1 and 2 were demonstrated and most people completed at least demo project #1.

IT IS THE STUDENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO COMPLETE THE OTHER PROJECT, remember, time must be spent outside of class time to complete projects that are demoed in class, see the last post of the open studio schedule.
